Settings
Your name, theme, sign-in, devices, app identity, plan and usage, all in one window. Open it with Cmd+, from any page.
Settings is a window that opens over any dashboard page. There are three ways in:
- Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then Settings.
- Press ⌘, on a Mac, or Ctrl+, on Windows.
- Upgrade plan in the same menu opens it on Billing.
Press Escape, the X, or click outside the window to close it.
Finding your way inside
The list on the left has two parts:
- Settings. General, Account, App identity, Appearance, Billing, Usage, Privacy.
- Workspace. Shortcuts to other places. Apps opens the page to make a new app. API keys opens Setup → Keys & webhook. Integrations opens Setup → Connections. Team is not available yet.
The Search box at the top filters the list by name. On a small screen the list becomes a drop-down at the top.
Some rows are shown but greyed out. Those are not available yet. Hover over a greyed out switch and it says "Not wired up yet".
General
Profile. Your picture letter, name and email.

Preferences.

| Motion | system follows your computer. reduced cuts down animation in Hawkings replies and the rest of the dashboard. |
Notifications.
| Setting | What it does |

| Reply completions | Tells you when Hawkings finishes an answer while you are on another tab. Turning it on asks your browser for permission. If you say no, it turns back off. |
| Issue alerts | Marks the bell in the header when an unresolved issue is waiting. Off stops the bell from checking at all. |
Account
| Setting | What it does |

| Log out of all devices | Ends every session, here and everywhere else. |
| Delete account | Deletes every app you alone own and everything in it, plus your profile, your Hawkings history and every signed-in device. Apps you share with another owner stay with them. It asks you to confirm. It cannot be undone. |
| Account ID | Give this to support if we ever need to find your account. |
Sign-in.

| Change the address you sign in with. Type the new one and press Send confirmation. The change only happens once you confirm from that inbox. You can tick Sign out of all devices at the same time. | |

Active sessions. Every device signed in to your account. Columns: Device, Location, Signed in, Last active. The one you are using is tagged Current. If you do not know a device, use Log out of all devices.
App identity
The IDs and addresses that tell phones and stores which app is yours. Links use them to open your app, or to send people to the store. See App identity for every field.
Appearance
- Theme. Three cards: Light, Dark and System. System follows your computer.
- Interface font, Density and Animated globe. Your choice is saved in this browser.
- Always show scrollbars. Off keeps the sidebars clean. You can still scroll.
Billing
The card at the top shows your plan as it really is: on trial and how many days are left, the monthly price, or that there is nothing to pay while you are in the early group.
- Payment method, Billing email and Invoices are not available yet. We bill you directly for now.
- Invite a founder. When you have an invite link, Copy link copies it.
Usage
Counts for the last 30 days:
- Events ingested. Events your apps sent.
- Hawkings questions. Questions asked to Hawkings.
There are no limits on your plan today.
Privacy
Event retention, Let Hawkings read your data and Export everything are shown but not available yet.
Opening a section from a link
Add ?settings= and a section name to any dashboard address to open Settings on that section. For example, /dashboard/home?settings=account opens Account. The names are general, account, app, appearance, billing, usage and privacy.
Setup
Everything your app needs before the numbers mean anything: keys, money settings, your AI key, connections and data imports. One section at a time.
App identity
Seven per-app fields that tell phones and stores which app is yours: bundle ID, Team ID, Android package, signing fingerprints, both store addresses, and your website.
