Push
Write one push notification, pick who gets it, and send it now or at a set time. With a live preview and a history of every send.
Dashboard → Engage → Push.
Push sends one message to the phones of the people you pick. You write it on the left and see how it looks on the right.
The top of the page
- Devices registered shows how many phones can get a push from this app.
- History opens the list of every push you have sent or scheduled. Press Hide history to close it.
Before you start
A phone only shows up here after your app registers it. If no devices are registered yet, the page shows two steps:
- Ask for notification permission in your app. The onboarding permission step does this, or your own screen can.
- Right after the person says yes, call
Growth.registerForPush(). Press copy to copy the code.
Expo Go cannot get push notifications. You need a development build. See Push notifications for the full setup.
Who gets it
Pick one group. Each shows how many devices it will reach:

| One user | One person. Search by user ID, RevenueCat ID, account or device, then pick them. clear picks someone else. |
Who is paid or in trial comes from your RevenueCat webhooks. People who turned off notifications are left out on their own. The line under the groups says how many devices the push will reach.
The message
- Title. Up to 48 characters.
- Body. Up to 140 characters.
- Opens. The app, wherever they left it, or Custom deep link, where you type a path in your app like
/editor/room-123. - Language. English only. Translations are not available yet.
When
- Send now. Delivery starts the moment you press send.
- At a time. Pick a date and time in your own timezone. Fictura sends it even if you close the dashboard. You can cancel it from History before then.
- Each user's best hour. Not available yet.
The big button at the bottom says how many devices it will go to, like Send to 120 devices, or Schedule for 120 devices. It stays greyed out until there is a title, a body, and at least one device.
Send to my device is not available yet.
After a send, a line shows how many went out and how many failed. Old phone tokens that no longer work are cleaned up and counted.
On the device
The right side shows a live preview of your push on a lock screen, as a banner, and on Android. It uses your app's name. Until you type, it shows a sample message.
Under it, What lands gives three short tips for writing a push.
History
Every push you sent or scheduled. Each row shows the title, the body, and its state:
- Sent, with the time, how many were delivered, and how many failed.
- Queued for a time, with a Cancel button.
- Failed, with the reason.
- Canceled.
